ℹ️ The larger your group, the lower the price per person. Rates include national park
entrance fees, your private guide, vehicle, lunch and water — nothing extra to pay
at the park gate.

Your morning starts with the whooping call of white-handed gibbons rolling across the canopy — a sound you feel before you place it. Your guide reads the direction, and within minutes you are watching a family group swing between branches through a spotting scope, close enough to see their faces, far enough that they never break their routine.

From the road you step onto the trail. The air cools and thickens, the light turns green, and your guide stops to point out strangler fig roots the width of a car, medicinal plants used by local villagers, and fresh tracks pressed into the mud. Lunch is a proper Thai meal inside the park before the afternoon takes you to Haew Suwat waterfall, the 20-metre cascade made famous by the film The Beach, where the spray reaches you long before the viewpoint does.

The last hours are the ones that matter most. As the heat drops, your guide drives the grasslands and mineral salt licks where wild Asian elephants come out to feed. Sightings are never guaranteed anywhere in the wild — but being in the right place at the right hour with someone who tracks these animals daily is as close as it gets.

Q: Where and what time does the Khao Yai private wildlife tour start?
A: We collect you from your Pak Chong hotel or an agreed meeting point between 08:00 and 08:30. Please wait in the lobby so we can maximise your time inside the national park.

Q: What is included in the price?
A: National park entrance fees, an English-speaking wildlife guide, safari vehicle from Pak Chong, Thai lunch, snacks, fruit, drinking water and leech socks. Accommodation and Bangkok transfers are not included.

Q: Is hiking in Khao Yai difficult for beginners or children?
A: The trails we use are easy to moderate and suit most fitness levels. Because the tour is private, your guide adjusts the pace and trail length to your group, including families.

Q: Can you really see wild elephants in Khao Yai?
A: Wild elephants live in the park year-round and late afternoon near the salt licks gives the best chance. Sightings are never guaranteed, but your guide knows the currently active feeding zones.

Q: Is this a shared group tour?
A: No — it is fully private. Only your own party travels with the guide and driver, so you set the pace, stop for photos whenever you like and never share the vehicle.

Q: How do I book and can I cancel?
A: Book online with full payment by 04:00pm the night before. Cancel at least 24 hours before departure for a full refund; cancellations inside 24 hours and no-shows are non-refundable.

Q: How much does the tour cost for my group?
A: Rates are per person and drop as your group grows: 7,500 THB for one traveller,
3,800 THB each for two, down to 2,000 THB each for six. Groups of seven or more,
message us for a quote.

Q: Do I need to pay the national park entrance fee separately?
A: No. Your national park entrance fee is already included in the price, so there is
nothing extra to pay at the gate. Lunch, water, snacks and leech socks are covered too.
