Tour Itinerary

THIS TOUR YOU CAN USE VEHICL FOR UP TO 8 HRS.
Around Krabi Province only

Description

Krabi City is the main town in the province of Krabi on the west coast of southern Thailand at the mouth of the Krabi River where it empties in Phang Nga Bay. As of 2010 the town had a population of 52,867. The town is the capital of Krabi Province and Krabi District. Tourism is an important industry capital of Krabi. Located at the mouth of the river, it is a small, typically Thai, bustling market town. The river and sea used to provide Krabi with its main industry, fishing, but now commerce and services play a larger role.

As the seat of government, banks and the provinces only centrally located supermarkets and department store, the town is busy throughout the day. The original population of Krabi Town is the Thai Chinese community; however, there is a sizeable Thai-Buddhist presence, as well as the old Muslim village of Klong Hin, which is now part of the town itself. The community is a true melting pot – now including a small group of westerners, mainly teachers and retirees – and remains one of the friendliest towns in the South.

Famous place to visit.
The Tiger Cave Temple is a Buddhist temple north-northeast of Krabi, Thailand. A sacred site, it is known for the tiger paw prints in the cave, tall Buddha statues and the strenuous flight of stairs to reach the summit.
Wat Tham Sua (Tiger Cave Monastery), a quiet secluded spot were Buddhist monks practice meditation. Their living quarters are very small huts or caves in the interior of a ring of tree-covered cliffs shaped rather like a doughnut, which is reached by a short climb via well-made concrete steps leading up the outside and down to the central inner area. Another place you will get to visit is Hat Noppharat Thara, one of Krabi's most beautiful beaches.
Krabi province is known of its islands and beautiful beaches but there is another place getting more and more famous for swimming the emerald pool (Sri Morakot in Thai) this natural pound located about fifty kilometers from Krabi or Ao Nang owes its name to its limpid green emerald waters. From the parking lot, there are two routes to the emerald Pool the main road continuing straight after the ticket office and the trail road. The trail way is quickly on the right after entrance. It is 1.4km long but so much nicer that the big path going directly from entrance to the pool. Note that besides the Emerald Pool which you will sometimes find also under the name of Emerald Pond, there is another pond, the Sra Kaew and the magnificent “Blue Pool” 600 meters after the Emerald Pool. It would be a shame to come here and not to see the intense and natural blue color of Blue Pool

Krabi hot springs are “hot tubs” crafted into smooth rock channeling water from deep rooted thermal springs located in volcanic chambers. The waters average 35-40degree Celsius and are brimming with natural mineral salts which are claimed to cure all manner of health complaints including rheumatism and sciatica. The sensation is utterly relaxing, and the environment is certainly unique, imagine sitting in a bathtub hollowed out from nature’s stone and surrounded by rainforest. These jungle baths feed into a cool stream which is perfect for dipping and diving into. Located about 70km. from Krabi town the hot springs are in the heart of a small jungle preserve and close to the Khao Phra Bang Khram Nature Reserve. Situated in the same reserve as the Emerald Pool and Thung Teao Forest Natural Park, it’s worth taking the time to combine all of these wonderful eco-spots in one nature filled day
